Linocut print, Rococo, autumn palette, rim light. A great copper loom with gilded rococo scrollwork and plump carved cherubs stands in a harvested field between tiny steeple towns, its warp strung with rust, amber and burnt-orange yarn that spills into winding rivers of thread across the valley, each strand knotted with tiny rolled messages; a low sun traces a bright golden-brown rim along the loom's edges against a deep umber sky, flat carved shapes and rough hand-cut contours, cozy nostalgic mood.
